| There is sooo much more to it than those little snipits of information. Our work didn't result any any failures there. The failures were proven and accepted to be from other circumstances. We supplied a core engine that had an ear repaired on the external part of the alternator mounting. You can't see it in the car , it in no way affects the mechanical working of the engine, and it served its purpose with absolutely no problem. There is absolutely no drawback to it. The edges of the piston see much more stress than the center. Balancing them didn't cause a failure and never will. I could go on and on. We often deal with situations of this type, in which failures may occur from circumstances out of our control or not due to our workmanship. The customers get upset because they have no where to turn sometimes to recoop the losses. They often irrationally lash out and start trying to assign blame anywhere possible. When its our fault we handle it, we always have and always will. Be reasonable. We build a lot of cars and supply a lot of parts. Sometimes a customer spends a lot of money. Sometimes after they spent a lot of money something goes wrong. Often times its not our fault, maybe we build a motor and they install it and we find out with 100% uncertainty that they overheated it (redZya in Connecticut). Then they get on the forum and bash us uncontrollably for their motor seizing. It happens to us every so often, and it drives us crazy every time. We cover problems when they are aour responsiblity and when it questionable we end up eating those too. If you want to go bash someone go find a group that actually isn't working in the customers best interest. Boost Solutions was doing some of the most hideous excuses for work I've ever seen, but nobody would listen. Then they went out of business and took everybodys money. I think we catch more on this forum than they do. Amazing. We aren't going anywhere, we will be here growing learning more and more and finding ways to improve from here on.
